Like a Velvet Glove Cast in Iron

The first Daniel Clowes comic i read was Ghost World (big surprise), and Velvet Glove took me by surprise. The atmosphere and storytelling were damn creepy. I've only read through it once, and i didn't know what exactly was happening, but it was pretty unsettling.
